Portugal Here I Come!

I have a strong interest in Portugal. My parents are exploring moving to this European country for six months of the year and possibly retiring there in the future. I can't wait to explore the country and see what it has to offer. It is a very small country - only about 6 hours of driving long and two hours of driving wide. Portugal is Europe's most western country on the continent. This article drew me in because I have just started thinking about what it will mean to me to have dual citizenship. I love my country. I will always be an American, but having citizenship in another country will give me a whole new world to explore. I am looking forward to learning about the culture, food, geography, history and meeting the people of this warm, welcoming country. This article started me on a path of daydreaming about what could be a new home for my family.
