This article was intriguing to me because I have always traveled with my family of four. I have never had to make travel plans or pay for my travel myself. Entering teen years, going away to boarding school and generally having more control over my time makes me wonder how travel might be if I do decide to travel on my own in a few years. When I came across this article it made me realize their might need to be extra planning to ensure my safety, where being a solo travel might be risky and why it might be exciting to try going on a trip alone. I don't see myself going on a solo trip in the near future, but its fun to read about it and plan for the future. It is something definitely out of my normal experience and travel routines!
